The cartoon-styled car is finished! I have learned so much from this Blender 2.8 project. Thank you all for the support and feedback I’ve got during this awesome journey!

Vintage Park Bench and Street Lamp (Low Poly) | Blender 3D

Image
Hey guys, In this presentation video, I will show you some 3d assets I made in Blender 3D for an animation short I’m working on. This is my attempt at modeling a vintage street lamp and a park bench.

Low Poly Fence

Image
The last couple of weeks I worked on some 3d assets for an animated short I'm still working on. Last week during Christmas holiday I made this stylized hand painted low poly fence. For this project, I sculpted several beams and planks in Blender. I baked the diffuse, normal and displacement maps from the high poly mesh to the low poly mesh model. For now, I only post one frame, later today I will try to post a 360 turn around. It is still rendering. https://www.youtube.com/bramvanvliet Stylized hand painted low poly fence

Mountain Road Environment Test

Was working on some procedural textures in Blender and tested them in a small 3d environment. What do you think? Mountain Road Environment Test

Low Poly Truck | Blender

Image
Hey guys, In this video, I will show you a simple low poly truck which I modeled in Blender 3D. For those of you who follow me on any of my other social accounts you probably know that I did this project a while back already. But I thought that it would be fun to share the end result here on YouTube with you too. I wanted to practice my low poly car modeling skills, for this exercise, I chose to model a low poly truck. I also modeled a small Dutch city environment for the truck to drive around in. For all of you die-hard Blenderheads here! Did you see something familiar in the background of the city environment? If you do, please let me know in the comments what you think it is. Some parts of the video are rendered with the Blender Eevee render engine (tagged in the upper left corner) but for the majority of the video, I used the Blender render engine. Sit back and enjoy the video! ► Please, Like, Comment, Share and Subscribe :) -------------------------------------------...

My first playable Game Character created with Blender, Substance Painter...

Image
This video is the end result of my attempt at doing the "Create a Game Character course" by Darrin Lile. This course covers the whole process of creating a Game Character in Blender 3D, Substance Painter and Unity. The first step in the course was making a 3D Game Character in Blender. Next, I learned how to import the model into Substance Painter where I was able to create my first PBR textures for the character’s skin and costume. After the 3D modeling, texture painting and rigging part, I made a walk, run, and idle cycle animation, for the 3D game character in Blender. At last, I learned how to bring my character and textures into Unity and set it up so that I could use the animations that come free with Unity’s Standard Assets. The whole project, 3D modeling, and video editing where done in Blender 3D. Texture painting in Substance Painter and gameplay creation in Unity. The gameplay I've recorded with OBS Studio. It was an awesome journey to create a 3D ga...
