Dutch Canal House Made With Blender 2.82

Image
To practice my 3d modeling and texturing skills, I decided to make another building. This time I wanted to make a more realistic 3d asset and something which is called typical Dutch architecture. I made this Dutch canal house and according to Wikipedia a canal house (Dutch: grachtenpand) is a (usually old) house overseeing a canal. These houses are often slim, high and deep. Because of the danger of flooding the front door is sometimes higher up and only accessible via stairs. The floor of the main story lies about seven to nine steps above street level. Many stoops disappeared in the 19th century when entrances were moved to the basement. The modeling was quite straight forward to make, but this time the texturing took up most of the time. I hope you like the model. ► Subscribe to Bram: http://bit.ly/SubBram

Game Vehicle Made With Blender, Substance Painter, and Unity

Image
This video is the end result of my attempt doing the "Blender 2.8 Game Vehicle Creation" course by Darrin Lile. This course covers the whole process of making an Oshkosh M-ATV game vehicle in Blender 2.8, Substance Painter and Unity. It was an awesome journey to create a 3D game vehicle from scratch and being able to play with it in the end. I hope you enjoyed watching this video... ► Subscribe to Bram: http://bit.ly/SubBram

Low Poly Stylized Ax Made in Blender 2.8

Image
Today I challenged myself, in trying to complete a small Blender project in one day from start to finish. I not only wanted to model and texture paint a 3D model but also edit and upload the video here to YouTube. I choose to model and texture paint a low poly stylized ax. I gave myself only one day for this exercise, to prevent myself from going back on forward on the small details over and over. The whole project, (3d modeling, texture painting, and video editing) is done in Blender 3D. I’m eager to receive your feedback.

Low Poly Fence

Image
The last couple of weeks I worked on some 3d assets for an animated short I'm still working on. Last week during Christmas holiday I made this stylized hand painted low poly fence. For this project, I sculpted several beams and planks in Blender. I baked the diffuse, normal and displacement maps from the high poly mesh to the low poly mesh model. For now, I only post one frame, later today I will try to post a 360 turn around. It is still rendering. https://www.youtube.com/bramvanvliet Stylized hand painted low poly fence

My first playable Game Character created with Blender, Substance Painter...

Image
This video is the end result of my attempt at doing the "Create a Game Character course" by Darrin Lile. This course covers the whole process of creating a Game Character in Blender 3D, Substance Painter and Unity. The first step in the course was making a 3D Game Character in Blender. Next, I learned how to import the model into Substance Painter where I was able to create my first PBR textures for the character’s skin and costume. After the 3D modeling, texture painting and rigging part, I made a walk, run, and idle cycle animation, for the 3D game character in Blender. At last, I learned how to bring my character and textures into Unity and set it up so that I could use the animations that come free with Unity’s Standard Assets. The whole project, 3D modeling, and video editing where done in Blender 3D. Texture painting in Substance Painter and gameplay creation in Unity. The gameplay I've recorded with OBS Studio. It was an awesome journey to create a 3D ga...

Cartoon Styled Mountain House

Image
This cartoon styled Mountain House is entirely made in Blender 3D. I created this 3D scene for the purpose of learning, not for commercial use. I had to combine all the skills I learned over the last one and a half year to complete the scene. The whole project is made in Blender 3D. Video editing is completely done in the Blender VSE. You can watch the complete animation by clicking on this YouTube video: Cartoon Styled Mountain House Clay Render Wireframe Render Materials

Mountain House Cartoon Styled

Currently, I'm working on a mountain house, which will be placed in the mountain road environment. All textures are my own, I texture painting them in #Blender3D in combination with Krita and Gimp. Mountain House Cartoon Styled

Just a Bee in 3D

Image
The Bee character is the first 3D character I completely modeled myself in Blender 3D, without the help of a tutorial. For this project I made an idle, walk and run animation. The whole project is made in Blender 3D. Video editing is completely done in the Blender VSE. Cartoon Turtle

This is the finished result for my Cartoon Turtle made in #Blender3D. I made this while doing a CGC Classic tutorial by David Ward. I also uploaded a 3d animation to YouTube, don't forget to like and subscribe there too. Thanks :-)

Old Oak Tree 3D Environment

Image
Modeled this old oak tree in #Blender3D the scene is inspired by the Grass, Plants, Leaves & Branches tutorials from @grantabbitt. All the textures painting is done by me in Krita and or #B3D.

Texture Painting a Medieval Building

Image
Some renders of my first try on #TexturePainting a #MedievalBuilding in #Blender3D. It took some time before the project was finished. I redid the texturing several times before I was satisfied with the end result. For now, I call it done.

Stuffed Elephant

Image
I did another #Blender3D tutorial. This time a CG Cookie Blender tutorial by Josh Maul. I learned how to model and render this cute scene of a stuffed toy elephant finding his stuffed friend mouse.

Had much fun today modeling this Vintage Microphone in Blender 2.79 by doing a tutorial from Tutor4u.
