Another Bee walk cycle

Made an update on the walk cycle, to improve the walk animation of my #3D Bee character. It's quite a complex process to #animate in #Blender3d, but I get the hang of it.

To stitch separated UV islands do the following Go into Edit Mode, and make sure Face Select Mode is enabled Press (A) to view all UV island In this example, I have two separated UV island and several loose faces Press (Alt + A) to deselect everything Then Press (L) to select only the Linked Faces of a UV island Make sure Seam Select is enabled, the Seam Select limits the selection to Seams. (Shift + Select) the face you want to stitch to the UV island Go into the UV Image Editor, and make sure Edge Select Mode is enabled Select the Edge which is the border between the UV island and the loose face Press (V) to stitch The edge now will light up green Press (Enter) to apply the stitch The loose Face will get moved and stitched to the UV island.

Dutch Canal House Made With Blender 2.82

To practice my 3d modeling and texturing skills, I decided to make another building. This time I wanted to make a more realistic 3d asset and something which is called typical Dutch architecture. I made this Dutch canal house and according to Wikipedia a canal house (Dutch: grachtenpand) is a (usually old) house overseeing a canal. These houses are often slim, high and deep. Because of the danger of flooding the front door is sometimes higher up and only accessible via stairs. The floor of the main story lies about seven to nine steps above street level. Many stoops disappeared in the 19th century when entrances were moved to the basement. The modeling was quite straight forward to make, but this time the texturing took up most of the time. Stylized Pickup Truck Made With Blender 2.82

After watching Andri Viyono’s Timelapse video, in which he created a stylized car in just around 2 hours. I was intrigued if I could do the same and fired up Blender 2.82 and started modeling. It was a great exercise to try to be quicker in my 3d modeling process. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to do it in just two hours, this video is the end result of a good day’s work.
